Calefax plays ‘The Swimmer’

The reed quintet Calefax is playing five concerts with guest cellist Matthew Barley. On the program (which includes pieces by Dvorak, Sweelinck, Purcell, Walton en Fitkin) is the premiere of my composition The Swimmer, inspired by an episode from the writings of Zhuang Zi, a Chinese taoist philosopher that lived around 360 to 300 BC.
