Calefax plays ‘The Swimmer’

The reed quintet Calefax is playing five concerts with guest cellist Matthew Barley. On the program (which includes pieces by Dvorak, Sweelinck, Purcell, Walton en Fitkin) is the premiere of my composition The Swimmer, inspired by an episode from the writings of Zhuang Zi, a Chinese taoist philosopher that lived around 360 to 300 BC.

On september 28th a new group named ‘Plots’ wil debut in the Amsterdam Bimhuis during the Carte Blanche night for bass clarinet player Ziv Taubenfeld.
